We are delighted to announce that we have been named as one of the winners of the prestigious 2019 Good Hotel Guide’s Editor’s Choice Award for Gardens.

The Editor’s Choice Awards highlights the top 10 hotels in selected categories and Goldstone Hall Hotel has been recognised in the gardens category as one of the best, alongside nine other prestigious hotels.

Published on Monday 8 October, the guide describes Goldstone Hall Hotel and Garden as ‘One of the UK’s largest hotel kitchen gardens’ and also says ‘there is a herb walkway, superb garden with double tiered herbaceous border, reclaimed from wilderness, a riot of colour all summer long.’

The 2019 Good Hotel Guide is the U.K. leading accommodation guide with independent advice and reviews of luxury and boutique hotels, B&Bs and Inns.

Owner of Goldstone Hall Hotel, John Cushing, said, ‘We are delighted to have received an Editor’s Choice Award in the garden category for 2019 of Good Hotel Guide – the ultimate guide to the best hotels in the UK. Our whole team works extremely hard all year to deliver excellence in a personable and enthusiastic manner and our mature and immaculate gardens are testament to this continuum of hard work and dedication.  Our garden not only provides a special place for our guests to enjoy and relax in but also enables us to deliver truly authentic ‘plot to plate’ dining experience.  In times when provenance, seasonality and local produce are important to customers, our large kitchen garden including over 100 different herbs & a wide variety of seasonal produce, contributes to this special and unique experience for which we are celebrated.’
