Outdoor Shropshire Weddings
The rose garden provides an idyllic backdrop for your ceremony and photos with perfumed David Austin roses lining the walkway to the Oak Pavilion for the all important ceremony.
Our acacia tree, with its honey scented foliage acts as a canopy over the rose garden and also provides delightfully scented shade.
We are fully licensed to conduct civil Wedding Ceremonies and seat about 100 guests under cover.

The Hall is not a stately home, but has an impressive grandeur that is perfect for celebration, so that you will feel comfortable and at home. We are pleased to offer exclusive use of the hall and gardens for up to 100 guests for your ceremony and 160 for your wedding breakfast.
From our Edwardian dining room and light and airy orangery which seat up to 60 guests, or our traditional marquee which can be adjusted from 60 to 160 guests, we can give you all the space and privacy you need.
Additionally you and your guests won’t have far to go after the celebrations have finished as we have 12 luxurious and individually designed bedrooms. Wake up together in the rolling hills of the North Shropshire countryside and enjoy a delicious, award winning breakfast, at Goldstone.
Refreshing Cocktails and Canapés
Get into the summer spirit with our signature champagne or Pimms cocktails, garnished with our home grown mint and summer fruits. Or talk to us about your own ideas, we are happy to accommodate your creative themes combined with our mixing wizardry!
We also offer a selection of summer inspired canapés, with fresh ingredients picked freshly from our 1 acre kitchen garden.
Wedding Breakfast
Inspired by our 1 acre award winning kitchen garden, your wedding breakfast will be an unforgettable meal. We are lucky enough to have one of the U.K.s largest hotel kitchen gardens, so many of the seasonal fruits vegetables and herbs included in our menus are freshly picked on the morning of your special day!
We promise to deliver you a seasonally inspired spring menu.
Sizzling Summer Evenings
As evening falls, why not invite your guests outside to enjoy and share a traditional spit, hog or wild boar roast, or even a BBQ in our warmly lit garden terrace. By night, we fill the gardens with lanterns, inviting your guests to enjoy the long summer evening. They’ll be warmed by our kadai fire bowl or a crackling log fire, lit under our oak pavilion.
