We are delighted to be hosting a brand new foodies event this September, ‘Plot to Plate’, which is a celebration of all that is seasonal in the Goldstone garden. It’s also a fringe event of the forthcoming Ginger and Spice Festival 2019.
This event will take place on Thursday 26th September 2019 & will start with a guided garden tour with head gardener, Nick Huxley, and hotel owner, John Cushing.
Focusing on the award winning kitchen garden, from 11.30am guests will be guided around our one acre kitchen garden, introducing seasonal produce including herbs, heritage vegetables, salads, heirloom fruit berries, autumn fruits, edible flowers and even spices! The tour will include a chance to learn about the special vegetable and herb trails as well as the Goldstone series soil!
From 12.30pm to 2.30pm guests will be invited to enjoy a delicious and seasonal three course lunch which will celebrate the start of autumn, this will be followed by tea and coffee.
The tour and three course seasonally inspired menu, will be available for £30.00 per person. Drinks will be an additional cost. Goldstone’s wine list is rated in the top 200 of the whole U.K.
