We are open once again for the National Garden Scheme in Shropshire during 2023.
Goldstone Hall Gardens are mature and intriguingly designed, including formal and informal planting, encapsulating the essence of a quintessential English garden. Set in 5 acre grounds overlooking the tree-strewn rolling countryside, enjoy one of the U.K.’s most productive hotel kitchen gardens, a walled garden, rose terrace and unique herbal walkways.
For 7 years Goldstone has been selected to open our gardens for the National Garden Scheme (NGS). Which currently raises more than £3.5 million each year to nursing, caring and gardening charities.
NGS Garden Open dates for 2023

All our NGS dates have opening times of 11am-5pm, unless it states otherwise.
Admissions and Refreshments
Entry is £7.50 per person and children are admitted free of charge. On arrival, please come to the hotel reception to pay the NGS garden admission cost to one of our hotel reception team. Tea/coffee and cake will be available in the oak pavilion but at an additional cost to the admission fee. Traditional afternoon tea is also available but must be booked in advance by calling 01630 661 202. Our menu is available to view here.

Located in the ‘golden garden triangle’ close to Wollerton Old Hall Garden, Hodnet Hall Gardens & Dorothy Clive Garden.
Our kitchen produces food that the AA has recognised at two rosette standards for over 10 years. An AA Inspector described his cooked breakfast as the best he had eaten in the previous 12 months!
