Don’t say goodbye to summer too soon. At Goldstone Hall Hotel, our five acre garden continues to delight well into September with brightly coloured plants, flowers, hips, fruits and berries.
Our entrance and front drive areas are currently filled with apricot, tangerine and vermillion coloured flowers which provide a late summer spectacle when you arrive at Goldstone.
Our cutting flower borders will amaze with their riot of brightly coloured and zingy floral tones such canary and golden yellows, scarlet and crimsons reds, hot and cameo pinks and tangerine and terracotta orange.

Flowers such as rudbeckia, dahlia, sunflower and nicotiana are just some of the later summer stars we grow here at Goldstone.
We also make up brightly coloured and fragrant flowers arrangements at this time of year, to display indoors within the hotel and restaurant, the perfect antidote to the seasonal changes.

Our one acre kitchen garden is producing a bounty of fruit, hips, berries, vegetables and edible flowers – all of which we bring into the hotel restaurant for our guests to enjoy! Guests can walk around and enjoy the sight and scent!
Why not make the most the last days of warm and sunny of September by joining us at Goldstone Hall Hotel for a garden visit followed by a traditional Afternoon Tea, or romantic dinner for two. Our beautiful, quintessentially English garden is the perfect place to sit and unwind.

The traditional Goldstone Hall Hotel afternoon tea includes a delicious array of delicate finger sandwiches with fresh fillings such as roast chicken with tarragon mayonnaise and smoked salmon, cream cheese and lime jam.
Additionally, we offer a selection of fresh and seasonal homemade savouries. You will also receive a selection of cakes and, of course, freshly baked fruit scones with clotted cream and local Shropshire jam. All of this is served with a choice of loose leaf teas, or coffee, or add a glass of fizz or pimms for a livener!
