What better way to welcome in the glorious spring sun this Easter than by joining us at Goldstone Hall Hotel for a delicious and traditional Afternoon Tea. Our beautiful, quintessentially English garden is the perfect place to sit and unwind this Easter, and is where you’ll find both a riot of colour and a chorus of bird song!
Anyone for tea?
We have upheld the 19th century British tradition of ‘taking afternoon tea’ here at Goldstone Hall Hotel for quite some time, and like the 7th Duchess of Bedford who enjoyed it so much she invited her friends to join her regularly, we recommend doing the same!
Cream or jam first?
The traditional Goldstone Hall Hotel afternoon tea includes a delicious array of delicate finger sandwiches with fresh fillings such as roast chicken with tarragon mayonnaise and smoked salmon, cream cheese and lime jam. Additionally, we offer a selection of fresh and seasonal homemade savouries. You will also receive a selection of cakes and, of course, freshly baked fruit scones with clotted cream and local Shropshire jam. All of this is served with a choice of loose leaf teas, or coffee, or add a glass of fizz or pimms for a livener! See our menu here.
Enjoy the gardens
Afterwards, take a walk around the garden and enjoy the pretty blossoms, crown imperials and you may even get to see our first climbing rose in bloom! We are also serving traditional Sunday Lunch this Easter followed by our traditional Easter Egg Hunt!
