Summer is here
Summer is in full swing here at last at Goldstone and from the moment you step onto the threshold you will feel at home.
We are perfectly placed for a staycation. Away from the madding crowd and with many famous gardens locally, Goldstone is the perfect place to enjoy both your new freedom and the peaceful Shropshire countryside in the convivial setting of our Georgian country house hotel.
As well as enjoying our award winning 5 acre garden, we are lucky to be close to many other award winning gardens of merit such as Wollerton Old Hall, The Dorothy Clive Garden and Hodnet Hall Gardens. Also, just over the border in Staffordshire, there is Trentham Gardens with the mile long Capability Brown designed Trentham Lake – a true spectacle.

Goldstone Hall Hotel and Gardens
Goldstone is an award winning Restaurant, Hotel & Garden situated in very rural Shropshire about half way between Newport and Market Drayton.
The medieval Georgian hand made red brick Hall is situated in the lee of Goldstone Hill keeping watch over the rolling and tree strewn countryside. The Cushing family have welcomed guests for three generations and the old house has an immediate let’s relax and enjoy spontaneous feel as you arrive.
The mature grounds, immaculate garden and productive kitchen garden are the back cloth of your stay along with a welcoming friendly and professional team who love attention to detail.
Unrivalled in the area, this is hospitality as it should be, personable, attentive and smilingly enthusiastic.
